I hope everyone is having a great week and thank you for checking out my blog.  I decided to put up a notice today as I get ready to leave for China to make sure anyone trying to reach me knows that my response time will be less then it normally is.  Rest assured, I will try to respond if possible but will definitely get back to you when I return from my vacation.

I love DIY weddings.  I love weddings with awesome details.  I love outdoor weddings.  And I love a fun couple.  Sandra and Matthew's wedding was all of that.  They were super nice from the first time we all met and then even had a blast at the engagement session which was recorded on video as well, click here.

With so many weddings that I shoot every year, I also am fairly used to the emotional side of things.  But with the combination of everything, this wedding really touched me as I noticed I got a little emotional during their personal written vows that they read.  With friends and family and a lot of awesome touches, this wedding was a hit.  It was my pleasure to be there and to have met both Sandra and Matthew, and of course little Finn.  I with you all the best and please enjoy the photos.

Irwin and Melissa had an awesome idea that they wanted a portion of their engagement session to include a travel theme.  We started at the Fullerton Arboretum and then headed over to the Fullerton Airport.  My friends Bud and Suzi own an awesome plane and were super gratious to let us take some photos around it and in it.  It was amazing.  Great light, a little cold, but we managed to get our photos.  We finished it off with a few quick kitchen photos of them baking and having fun.  A great overall engagement session with lots of fun by all.  Congrats you two, can't wait for your wedding later this year!!
